Rogers can actually seriously bat too. He played a stinker but I'm not sure it's fair to assume it should have been an issue going into it.

Think it's situational, honestly. Yesterday they had to use curran's last over for the surge cause of match situation. Could also say that only having one curran over left by the 14th is misusing him, not sure on that front.

He's a decent red-ball bat but I'm not convinced he's shown that he'd be that useful in a white-ball, end-of-the-innings scenario. Not enough to be a relied on as a T20 no. 8 IMO
