And Kohli and Rohit had set up a decent platform, by the time Kohli got out. We lost that match cause of Dhoni and Jadhav
How convenient.
Two of the best batsmen in the world at their peak wasted so many balls in the beginning and the blame goes to a declining Dhoni.

25 runs in 10 overs in a 650 total match.. Really? Who do they think they are? Kallis and Prabhakar?

Whatever it takes!!!
Ok
thats your opinion.

Who was better in Avg - SR?
Was it Kohli?
He is just miles better than every other batsman of his generation in ODIs.

And it's no more of an opinion than literally every one of ur posts in this thread which you pass off as some kind of gospel.

I do think Sachin s very slightly a better career than Virat in ODIs. But the ridiculous hyperboles from u in this thread has me seriously considering placing Virat above Sachin.

Maybe it will be one of those few things me and @Burgey agree on when it comes to cricket.

De Villiers was way more destructive than Kohli ever was and Kohli did bat in slightly more favorable conditions. De Villiers adjusted average is 56-57 ish to go with lot superior SR.

The answer for my question is
No. Kohli wasnt. AB avg was better ( with a far better SR )

I would say not miles; ABD is definitely close, but I would definitely keep Virat ahead of him.
M speaking the language pfk understands. Hyperbole.

Ita also very interesting how his theory of relativity applies to Virat V Sachin and is yet nowhere to be seen when it comes to Viv V Sachin.

Let's be honest, by every means of statistical measurement, Viv is ahead of Sachin..... Even a case like Strike rate can't be made against him (era adjustment!? Huh, Viv don't need those).

Okay, I would just finish with two more points. Firstly, Sachin's averages in different countries; Australia (34), Pakistan (37), Nz (39); net away average (37.24). Virat practically averages 50+ in every single country (except Sri Lanka (48.9) and New Zealand (49.66)) and his net away avg being (55.58). Secondly, you are conveniently using only the peaks of ABD and Sachin; but in Virat's peak from 2016-18 he averaged over 95 in 50 matches; Sachin never had noway near that high of a peak

Kohli played in easier era.

Sachin didn't scored runs when his team needed him the most (i.e World Cup finals); end of story....
2003 WC final - did Kohli performed in such a situation yet? NO.
2011 WC final - Will Kohli score more runs than Sachin in a WC final after playing 20 years of international cricket?
I doubt he even get selection in the 11.
