Yes, very poor form. I also believe the Indian team didn’t stay on the field for the presentation which, if true, is terrible sportsmanship.I will say the subdued crowd did cricket and the fans themselves no favours, who wants to see such a poor sporting reception of, regardless what you think of aussies or that side, a top effort to topple the home side
Thanks, but I’ll decide who was effusive enough and who wasn’t here.Other than the dozens that did? Even the one eyed ones are gushing with praise about how Australian teams always rise to such occasions.

my guess is that he realised he couldn't slog very well and there's no point in being a LO specialist who's also a decent test no8.Zampa was borderline an all-rounder at first. But that was a long time ago now. He's as genuine a tail-ender as they come
It should be "deer" in the highlights, not deers.Once Aus made the final it was basically over. India were like deers in the headlights from the get go. Even Sharma was streaky AF early on.
Honestly, as soon as those eleven uber-masculine, self-confident-but-not-over-confident Aussies strode onto the park for the anthems, this was done. You could see fear and tension in the Indians' eyes. The Aussies carried with them a legacy - that only winning will do.
Doesn't matter where, doesn't matter who they are playing. If you're up against Aus in a WC KO game, you're generally ****ed because they know if they don't come home with the trophy they will be rightfully excoriated and disowned by their people. It breeds excellence.
They also eat steak, not this vegan ****.
Just imagine our jubilation if exactly another 560 people turned up.***Official*** World Cup Final Attendances:

I feel bad for Indian fans.
In Australia the plural for deer is "Kangaroos"It should be "deer" in the highlights, not deers.
Most 7 year-olds know the plural of deer is deer. Oh dear.
I love how Aussies have "roo bars" not "bull bars".In Australia the plural for deer is "Kangaroos"
You know what else is funny, if Australia had chosen to bat first and Starc/Haze/Cummins ripped through India in same period under lights and had them 6/50 basically ending the game, the same guys (trundler) blaming the toss now would blame it then as well.India had about an hour of play under lights where the ball was hooping all corners. It was easily the hardest time to bat in the whole game for either side and that was the biggest risk Cummins took with the toss. They could have easily had Australia 6 down for 50 as they did to most other teams in the tournament but Australia weatherd that period without completely falling over and went on to win.
If you can't recognise that, you are a bit of a salty sook

Pretty hilarious the Indians are still trying to have some influence on the WC even when its safely ensconced in the Australian side's hotel rooms. Cry harder ffs. Putting your feet on a trophy which the Indian team will never get its hands on might somehow be offensive over there, but being a whining **** and not shutting tf up when you've had your arse handed to you is offensive here.BREAKING FRONT PAGE NEWS FROM THE AHMEDABAD MIRROR
A photo of Kapil Dev in 1983 ''graciously'' holding the world cup aloft above his head.
A photo of Sachin Tendulkar in 2011 ''romantically'' kissing the coveted trophy.
A photo of Mitchell Marsh yesterday laid back on a couch with his legs up and feet resting on the holy grail.
Apparently this has been deemed a very disrespectful act from Marsh and a culture war has broken out.
In other front page news a young man from Delhi in town for the WC has been caught by five policemen with a bottle of liquor in his car.
It's been alleged that rather than going through the usual channels the policemen attempted to extort 20,000 rupees from the young man.
#Nothing noteworthy to report from the middle pages.
