@The Hillside Should we be judging Morgan (Ire) based on his Ireland career or based on his overall career?
In that scenario, player's overall skills can come into consideration..

Like sometimes we have really talented players...but they fail to perform on international level...and vanish after a couple of years....

Or sometimes player's are really good on domestic level or club/league level....so selection boards keep on playing them in the international side even if they are not performing well on regular basis or their records are ordinary on international level cricket...or it's just sometimes selection boards can't find any other option...

Richards
De Villiers
Shakib
Buttler (wk)
Ten Doeschate
Streak/Rashid Khan
Hadlee
Wasim
Murali
You will have to pick one from Streak and Rashid Khan..you decide you want a fast bowling heavy side or spin heavy side.....so what is your right balance here?

Fair enough. Morgan is an option here then.

While for Tests I dislike Flower's keeping I think it's less of a problem in ODI's. Also with Flintoff being a middle order bat with a poor record lower down he effectively becomes a specialist bowler at 8. Hence i'd bring in Bairstow and McGrath for Flintoff and Gilchrist. Hadlee in for Bond to shore up the lower order a bit (don't think Bond is really any greater a ODI bowler anyway)

Tendulkar
Bairstow
Richards
De Villiers
Flower(wk)
Shakib
Ten Doeschate
Hadlee
Wasim
Murali
McGrath

Looks better to me
Probably just means ditching ten Doeschate and moving morgan up to 4 though. Satisfied enough with my main five bowlers that i'm happy to get any 6th bowler overs from Richards/Tendulkar

Ok list.

But you are relying on Shakib Al Hasan to be your 5th bowler...who has to bowl 10 overs everytime? Coz there isn't any part-time bowling option on your list?

Richards was quite often the 5th bowler for WI. Describing him as not even a part-time option is strange

Everyone has their own style of creating what sides they want with limited options...your fast bowling lineup looks perfect....Meanwhile I had gone for stability in the middle order with Kohli, Ponting and Sangakarra..so I had to settle for Wasim Akram, James Anderson and Trent Boult as my fast bowling lineup...meanwhile my spinners were Rashid Khan, Shakib Al Hasan and Sean Williams..

There's so much video of him out there you don't need to have. It's the pre-Packer guys that can be tricky to assess
I started watching cricket during ODI World Cup 1996, so missed everything before then...but maybe just maybe someday I will start watching cricket before 1996...

Yeah it's a tough choice but i figured with three ATG bats and three ATG bowlers plus one borderline ATG bowler my team would be in the game more often even if it played lower scoring games on average
