That is a truly terrible ball. Literally the only ball he could possibly hit for six.
It's an odd field too. Just bowl short of a length outside off imo. He's not going to smoke those for a boundary unless he edges it, and he's not going to take singles either.

He's set the field for yorkers at leg stump which is fair enough

Was pigeon holed as a white ball player. Never really focused on the red ball stuff , we should have got him into test side while he was young ..

Literally unheard of that a player from a Test playing nation with his kinda of ODI record not playing a single Test match.
He only average 36 in first-class cricket though, and there were always guys available to be picked who had better first-class records. Not all of them came off, so perhaps it is a bit of a surprise he didn't get the odd game here and there.

The good news for South Africa is at least they've gotten a 2 in front of their score. At 4/24 even 100 looked tough. Great knock from Miller, shame about everyone else though.

Definitely under par but the wicket has legitimately played tricks. First 10 overs will obviously be key, 2/3 wickets and it's game on, 0/70 or whatever and Australia cruise.

You feel that 212 is very good given the start SA got, but you also feel that it's 30-40 runs short. It's defensible though, especially given Australia's batsmen never seem to click all at once and we've been prone to collapse this tournament.
