@StephenZA have sent a friendly request for final on Saturday 4th November 13:00
@JOJOXI Tough finals for Winton CC, tough toss to lose after a great campaign... I thought you were going to put up a big total until that 36th/37th over when you lost so many wickets... for TMOs, Caldwell did a good job holding the middle order together and scoring the final runs. But Mpungose fast end of innings bowling, with support from Opperman, was the real match turning point.

Congratulatons @StephenZA - would have been nice to win one of these and knew this was my best chance but it wasn't to be. Congratulations to your side and yeah those final 5 overs proved to be one of the key moments in the match. Professionally chased down by your side to snuff out any hopes of it being a low-scoring thriller.

Winton CC having a pre-planned sale event at the end of CWC9 - 10 19-21 year olds up for sale, including 6 players with 33+ batting and the other 4 with 32+ bowling. So check the Transfer Market if you are interested in some developed DEV players

Also, if anyone has any promising youngsters (15-17) especially with the bat that they are willing to sell then we would be interested.

Also nice to see despite mediocre rankings overall, Winton CC are 4th and Charminster CC 15th in the DEV rankings, although after recent and upcoming sales expect that to drop quickly so enjoying it whilst it lasts! Also 5 teams in the top 15 and 3 in the top 6 from the CWC community of DEV rankings!

I am surprised to see you selling Bangash. Very good player, unless you looking for extra monies. https://www.stumpedgame.com/player.php?Player=257330
Looking to mostly develop young players and with us keeping Foster hoping that gives us space to develop Benjamin as a bowling allrounder as well as Hardcastle and Keenan as pure bowlers.

Certainly hope we get good money for Bangash though as rate him highly but unless they are a Fairhurst or Foster or Goonesekara (for their allround talents) across my 2 franchises mostly just factoring in potential as strategy means we will lose a lot early on.

Just hope we can get wins for both sides in DEV today - about to check that now - to hopefully help both sides towards staying up in DEV Cricket

I did momentarily mull ovet Bangash and Howe and then mulled over selling only 1 but then just went with both - hoping we can get at least a good seamer, spinner and 2 good bats at the 15-17 age group

I would probably have kept Bangash over Hardcastle... but that's because I`m making a bit of a big deal over fielding nowadays.

But you are going to get good monies for him... as can already been seen on the market.

Strike rotators in T20 - thoughts?
I think that strike rotators are good always, particularly early innings. I do however have a concern with them because an unacknowledged increase with runouts when a strike rotator is batting.

Yea Quick Runners lead to more run-outs. Strike Rotators don't, but I guess having more singles and doubles will in general lead to more run out chances, hence SZA's concern.

I like strike rotators.

Yes because of the increased number of singles. Also why I said unacknowledged. I know they lead to more run outs just because of the nature of run outs in stumped. Which is a known issue. And I have observed it with two batsmen in my TMO line up that have strike rotator; there is a clear increase in run outs.

But it is great ability to keep score board moving while under pressure. I like it on openers in particular.

Former Bangladesh national player Hadi Hafeez just smashed an affiliate team of BD national cricket manager, Z0rax. He pummeled 46*(13) with 7 sixes....his last six balls all going for huge sixes.

Making a statement. He wants to recall to the national team.
