***Official***Match #40- England vs Netherlands - November 8th - Pune (D/N)-#TheGreatEuropeanBash

Brook's career seems to be travelling backwards at a pretty quick rate.
He's not really a one-day cricket. Never pulled up many trees for Yorkshire in the format. England are just trying to shoehorn him in the team whatever the format.

Warms my heart to see you (and Captain Idiot via the like button) so desperate for Brook to fail. The deep insecurity that persists because you know Australia have no young batsman with anywhere close to his potential. Pathetic

As the late, great Ron Barassi used to say, potential is what came out of the end of your old man’s appendage. The rest is up to you.

That includes being able to play a pull shot.

It's a worry when Bairstow, Root and Buttler can't even find some form against the Netherlands.

Especially when we might need England to beat Pakistan to make the semis.

Australia were in a worse position yesterday and look how they recovered.
Stokes probably one of the few on the world who could emulate it tbh, but even his “insane innings” ceiling in this format isn’t Maxwell level.

What's that? England and its captain are going MISSING again?

Sad, many such cases.

There's just been no desire to even attempt to find a way from some of these senior players. It's like an Ashes tour to Oz, there's just mental capitulation with no clarity about how to turn things around. A complete abandonment of responsibility and leadership.

How does this happen so often away from home? It's a pattern that just isn't being addressed in any meaningful way. You hear all these players talk about doing the right things and results will come. We'll stick to our guns and it'll all come good in the end. Well no it ****ing won't, you have to actually address the problems and work out how to fix them. That doesn't just happen because you won lots of games five years ago.

Lame.

Hilarious wickets catalogue today. Barring maybe the short ball, the Dutch have had to do very little.

Isn't it supposed to rain later on?

That would be the last straw losing a game on DLS.

15 overs left, they're better off just getting to 270-280 and seeing whether the Dutch can chase it.

Moeen Ali is an absolute disgrace, again. Please let this be the last time we have to watch this hack in international cricket.
