Not watching this match but is it correct from Bangladesh but not within the spirit of the game
Yeah, that's probably it. However, given the regulations surrounding concussion protocols these days, to time a guy out because his helmet strap broke as he put it on doesn't sit well. It's just a complete shitshow from Shakib to be honest, although not overly surprising.

TIL one of the speeding up the game initiatives was to make a playing condition so the time to face is two minutes rather than the three it is in the laws.
Haven't checked it, but this was one of the selling points of the original English T20. 90 seconds to get out there, hence the dug out. Don't know when they brought it down to two minutes for OD cricket but it made sense given the dug out became a feature of cricket anyway
