The much maligned Labu, Green and Stoinis kinda saved Australia some blushes with the bat today.

aus middle order was the major difference this game. Both teams had similar starts with the bat and early wickets falling. But Aus went through the middle period quite well but didn’t have a good launch as they’d like near the end.

I know Stokes top scored and caught up a bit later but he likes to play unusually slow innings from time to time. People can say the others can stick with him but it was obvious his team was feeling the pressure to hit a big one while stokes was pacing his innings this England team last few years showed they don’t like to play that way so it didn’t work to their strengths today

yeah was surprised how well they did with the bat they’ve struggle most this tournament with the bat think Greens getting dropped for Maxwell though don’t get why Green doesn’t really bowl much I definitely think he can bowl 5-7 overs every game
