aka the skills that make for top bowlers in shorter formats, can't be reliant on pace, bounce or swing/movement, skilful surprise bouncers, yorkers, off-cutters, slower balls, executed well they can induce wickets, problem is some bowlers just bowl, or attempt to, poorly executed versions the batsman picks up on or just flays away because they are off line, length etc

and of course disguising any of these is almost as key, and England not having much to rely on but swing/movement, bounce, pace etc are often exposed overseas where it doesn't move as much or at all, or they aren't good enough to swing it unless conditions and pitch assists, and bounce is not quite as much a surprise weapon as in England on many pitches

Mmmm maybe we needed to score 500.

Usually you'd expect a chase like this to run out of puff at some point, though rain could screw us over - DLS target score seems a lot more achievable than getting the full 400. Or Fakhar could just score 250 by himself...
