Christ why are they even looking at this. Fair play Bavuma, he walked straight off

Only able to half watch while doing other things right now, hadn't realise Boult had been so parsimonious. Agree that Henry has been too inconsistent, unforgiving pitch or not.

Great effort but reckon he made that a little bit harder than it had to be. Had time to take an extra step and not have to dive so far.

Easy to say from here though and it's hard to judge the pace of those square of the wicket ones. Would have been a screamer

Ponting giving a little speech in favour of Southee and all his experience, which I, having read numerous CW debates about how experience can be overrated, immediately thinks 'hmmm is extensive experience getting pumped all round the ground in white-ball cricket really that useful?'

Normally you would say that was a tough chance but you expect Phillips to take those.

Would love a commentator to be brave enough to simply make the observation that his career record is bad. Not even a Southee thing really, just for commentators to exhibit basic knowledge and simpIe, neutral analysis. I mean, they put the career stats up on the screen to invite comment, it doesn’t require even CW-level analysis to say ‘it’s quite a poor record, this is clearly his worst format and that’s why he hasn’t been first choice for years’. Too much to ask of course.

Once again as Henry's knee takes a huge chunk out of the turf, it's a miracle no player has received a serious injury yet.

Sad that TMS is so unlistenable these days. Norcross and Vaughan on comms together is so dire. Enough with the banal trivialities

If anyone would do that you'd think it would be Ponting. He's excessively brutally honest if anything a lot of the time.
