***Official***Match #32 - New Zealand vs South Africa - November 1st - Pune (D/N)

NZ would be very confident after their performance in last game . They might have to chase 350+ once again considering the venue

NZ are favorites , they have been the second most impressive team in this competition, the two losses they have posted well if your team is going to lose you want to lose competing like what NZ did , and they have a great record vs SA in World Cups.

+1
SA almost choked against Pakistan, they can't handle pressure and therefore aren't a threat.

And they smashed Aus, who beat NZ.
True , but I'm going by performance rather than results ..And NZ have performed better than us so far , we've bullied teams ..but when a team has shown they have fight, we have struggled ..
This is the serious test. We go in as the underdogs.

Toss dependent for me, if SA bat first they can go big, and I can't see NZ chasing a big one so well 2 games on the trot. If NZ bat first, I suspect they'll win as SA just don't seem like a confident team when chasing.

Why? Not saying you're wrong just interested in your reasoning.

Very interested to see what NZ's attack is like tomorrow. Does Ferguson sit out, and do they bring Sodhi in instead? Southee maybe? And will South Africa also follow India and Australia in attacking Henry from the get-go?

Damn I forgot about Ferguson's injury & the prospect of our mediocre man Southee potentially coming back to stink up the joint.

Biggest problem of course if he's not a like for like replacement for Ferguson, and will be murdered bowling 3rd change in the middle but at the same time isn't good enough to push Henry or Boult out as one of our opening bowlers. This is where we always should have selected Milne in the squad over Southee.
