It's going to be a good day today. The day England gets formally eliminated from the World Cup 😀

Two of the poorer teams in this tournament, think England have the slight edge but both have such poor bowling attacks it’s hard to call.

England just don't look anything like themselves of recent times do they?
Think that will change, at least for today. The seriousness of their position should keep them on their toes the entire day. They need to not only win but
win big to give their NRR a helping boost.
Sri Lanka have just about the worst bowling line-up in the tourney and I'm thinking England will be out to specifically target this.

Nope, could easily get 5 teams with a 6-3 or better record. NZ could lose to Aus and SA and still get 6-3. Aus can lose to England and still get 6-3. If it comes down to NRR, England look screwed anyway (but it won't).
Yeah it's just possible but the reality is that 6-3 is getting through 98% of the time.

We’ll have an awesome NRR by the time we bowl India pit for 46 on Sunday, so nothing to worry about on that front.

I think we will get this done today. Let’s see.

This will be a drubbing IMO but I reckon you'll probably still lose to India.

Looks like Livingstone, Moeen, Woakes replace Brook, Atkinson, Topley. For me, that's at least the right kind of balance in the side (closely mirrors India with 3 seamers, 3 spinners). Now it's up to them to perform.
