Semi Finals

Eh kinda disagree with that, each scenario takes two assumptions, what Bongi said (different) and what Curry heard (the same).
Well, from a strictly logical perspective, Mbonambi actually saying it doesn't require any assumptions based on the extant evidence.

Curry hears himself being called a white **** by Mbonambi, Mbonambi does not deny accusation, simplest inference is that he said it.

*pushes glasses onto nose* I thought Occam's Razor was about the number of assumptions needed to explain something and not the simplicity of the inference itself.

Maybe it is my bias.... I come from a world where racism and accusations thereof is used as a tool all the time to get what you want. So it not something for me that requires some sort of sociopathy, it is a literal tactic. And maybe that is unfair on Curry for me to project that world on him.

But for him to accuse Bongi like he did, if Bongi is innocent, due to an apparent misunderstanding, is at best reckless.
And Curry comes from a world which is pretty much the opposite of that. To accuse someone of racism and be wrong about it is almost as bad as being racist yourself. This is why, in my mind, you can see him wandering around for about 10-15 seconds before he decides to mention it to the ref.

He must have been very confident then on what he thought Bongi had said to him.

😂 😂

That's the kind of the point I've been trying to make for 3 sodding pages of this thread!!
And I`ve agreed... hence I said I want the investigation because either Bongi said it, and I want to know the circumstances. Or else it is what everyone else seems to think that its a loud call made in the defensive line and Curry took that as a personal insult, and then went on to complain to the ref about it... and I find that a very dubious decision for a man who obviously 'thought' long and hard about it.

And as an extra thing... England and/or Curry never put in an official complaint. It is purely the IRB doing an investigation because of the media storm.

Well, Bongi officially not guilty then.

Let's draw that line under it and prepare for the 12-9 bash fest this weekend is about to bring.

White **** or white side... this has generated the most speculative online content per word since DJT tweeted Covfefe
