I wonder if my exaggerated anti-Lillee propaganda has moved the needle enough in the past two years to get a more decisive Wasim result if we ran the poll again from a fresh start.

There are some legitimate reasons for ranking Lillee over Wasim but CW poll is not one of them.

Using popular opinion to decide whether one is more skilled in any field is just wrong.

Yeah idk about the voting format for those greatest players list. People forget certain players or will be convinced to vote certain players by seeing others vote for them. Its interesting for sure and definitely seemed to encourage more participation than people sending in their own list (anonymous would be more ideal but perhaps impossible).

Agree with all of this.
They are at the very top of the tree. Wasim just has a more well rounded record, was more skillful and being a LH has that added variety.
DKL was as good as it gets though. Nothing between these 2 in practical terms.
