The fact that he’s our only half-decent hitter that isn’t opening is a massive problem. Head coming back in might help a little bit but Australia’s batting depth is….very shallow.

If the pitch plays like most of those in the tournament then 370 should be ample but Australia do need to hit the right marks in the powerplay.

This is a significantly above par score despite the small boundaries because of the drops. Teams that get a massive headstart like Australia did today often have mini collapse at the death which gives false hope the chasing side before the score ends up being 50+ too many.

A great effort from Pakistan to keep Australia below 370 at the end when they looked like scoring 400+ but it will probably still be too much for them.

That dropped catch off Warner cost them badly, they might have been chasing less than 300 if it wasn't for that.
