Not many arsenal fans agreed or wanted it. Mot because we don't think raya is very good, in fact he may be better. But ramsdale just didn't deserve it, he's been a huge part of our improvement not just goalkeeping but team spirit too. He's such a popular guy with fans and clearly teammates too. The 5/6 young British guys we had in our team last year really changed things to bring the spirit up
small sample size but we should sign this guy

"It is essential that the Board of Directors and the football management are fully aligned on the importance of implementing a winning mentality and a culture of ambition across the entire Football Club.
With this in mind, Birmingham City has today parted company with Head Coach, John Eustace.
A new First Team Manager will be announced in the coming days who will be responsible for creating an identity and clear ‘no fear’ playing style that all Birmingham City teams will adopt and embrace."
LOL.

Rooney as new Brum manager isn't going to end well .

They get rid of a coach who has them 6th (highest spot since 2016 apparently) for Rooney!! What is wrong with some people?

We should be ahead by now. Had the better chances, and giving a pretty good account of ourselves. Ryan Strain's had a good game but he should have buried that. Loved that crunching Harry Souttar tackle as well. That's probably the slide tackle of his dreams.

Watching this friendly makes me wonder why friendly's are even played given how much football the pros play these days. just looks like an opposed training run, for both teams.

Still, nice for Australia to play a game against some minnows

Should have really buried a couple of those chances, especially that free header from Metcalfe. Still, we defended well and showed an expected level of deftness around the box in our few forays. Loving what Graham Arnold's doing with this team. They're fairly modest pros in second tier leagues but they play with a lot of confidence.

No doubt England fans have a similar level of emotional investment in this highly important match.

More than anything I just saw Connor Gallagher looking a real cart horse. Colwill looked ok and Grealish taking the ball down before the cross shot that Watkins bundled in was a first touch of high class. But it shows that many of that XI shouldn’t threaten the first team. However, that is what friendlies are for, testing out bench strength.

I was at the game tonight. First half was a bit flat. Second I thought England were pretty good. Grealish and Maddison were the standouts, which they would be.

Wise move to avoid Dion Dublin's contributions to the C4 coverage.

That's how I saw it. I may have felt differently if I'd paid to go to the game, but Southgate absolutely needs to look at alternatives ahead of when they're actually needed. Agreed about Gallagher too. Clearly he's gone downhill since returning to Chelsea, and he really should head back to Selhurst Park if he wants to enhance his England credentials.

When Ollie Watkins scored his first goal for Exeter 9 years ago, in the JPT against Cov, interestingly enough an opponent of his that day was James Maddison.

Yeah, he has seemed to regress since becoming a Chelsea regular. Their fans think he isn’t good enough technically. I have to say I see their point.
Southgate is reaping what he sows re Henderson. No way does the guy deserve to be in the squad. Picking him v Ukraine and such a negative performance, what does he expect?

Playing international friendlies during the season is a ****ing nonsense.
