Not just Bumrah to be fair. All the pacers have been really good, which has led to teams finding it more difficult to bat against India, which overall has meant India has won more in recent times than ever before.
True, but Bumrah is significantly better than the others IMO.

There is evidence everywhere. India and Pakistan in the 80s. India stronger batting, Pakistan stronger bowling, Pakistan better results.
pakistan had stronger batting too through 2000. As an example the top 7 I’m the 1983 tour was Mohsin Khan, Mudassar Nazar, Majid Khan, Zaheer Abbas, Javed Miandad, Saleem Malik and your man Imran Khan: of course India had Gavaskar, Amarnath, Vengsarkar, Devand a fading Viswanath but a lot of holes too in that lineup. There were no holes in the Pakistan line up and a batter as good as Wasim Raja was on the bench. Mushtaq Mohammed and later Shoaib was in the mix. It was an embarrassment of talent:

Before thi

in the 1990s, Anwar, Sohail, Ahmed, Inzamam, Malik, etc we’re better than an Indian lineup that wasTendulkar, Azharuddinand a lot of holes,

So I can’t agree with your thesis here

Majid was 70s. Mohsin and Mudassar weren't that good. Malik came later.

Also:

Lara actually averaged 50+ in the 90s not 48. Don't know where you pulled that figure from. 1990s = Jan 1st 1990 to Dec 31st 1999.

Sachin averaged 58. Both struggled vs Pakistan and RSA but Sachin was much much better away.
Till 2000s he averaged 48. After that runs scoring became a lot easier and thus he scored with an average of 60.

they all played the1983 series and you are looking a the stats without context. They were very good, and remember there was also Wasim Raja who was excellent and Mushtaq. Pakistans batting better than India’s probably until late 1990s when Dravid, Ganguly andLaxman emerged

Runs got easier for everyone I agree. But specifically in the 90s, he did just fine.
Yeah I agree he is an ATG but I just want to conclude that he wasn't consistent enough as Sachin. He scored the fastest 10000 test runs but that due to some daddy hundreds. So like he played in two extremes like either a low score or a great hundred. Plus he has the lowest amount of not out that suffered his average a bit. Else his avg would have been like 56.

Lara and Sachin are the two best batsman of the last 40 years. For consistency SACHIN but to win games from any situation Lara.

Hence why Sachin is better and also Sachin was excellent in away tests.
