Tendulkar
Rohit
Ganguly (if bowling is considered is better than Rohit)
Dhawan/Sehwag/Gavaskar ?? (not sure)
Sidhu
Gambhir

I'd put Srikkanth ahead of Sidhu and Prabhakar between Sidhu and Gambhir.

You would place Manoj Prabhakar higher than Gautam Gambhir? Prabhakar averaged 24 in ODIs and was mostly a bowling allrounder; Gambhir close to 40 and has a 97 in a World Cup winning final.

Prabhakar averaged 34 AS AN OPENER in the 80s and early 90s which is like averaging 40-42 in Gambhir's era.

I am sorry, but I don't think Prabhakar is even comparable to Gambhir as a batsman..... In his whole career, he averaged 12 against Aussie, 14 against English, 13 South Africa and 15 Windies; scoring 2 centuries in his whole career with no notable innings; Gambhir had a world cup winning knock. He was more of a Sunil Narine esque opener (except the hard hitting), the comparison itself isn't fair.

Ganguly was legit one of the top 3 ODI batters in the world for 2-3 years. Don't think Dhawan ever reached those heights.

I am here to bat for another player who is getting underrated because of revisionism.
