I still wonder why he wasn't tried in the Asia Cup and the 3 match series against Australia. I believe he would have displaced SKY from the squad.

Plus Jaiswal has already shown his pedigree in the longer format, unlike sky. The guy can bat on and on, unlike sky.

So your argument sounds weak.

SKY is a middle order batsman and Jaiswal is an opener, how are they comparable?

SKY scored 68 in Perth when no one else scored over 20 and the ball was bouncing like a test match against much better bowlers

Sky has looked inept 8/10 times in one day cricket.

Let's not forget that Jaiswal is a much needed left hander. But it's too late they didn't try him in Asia cup nor in home series. I doubt they would bring him in now if one of the batters gets injured and is ruled out of wc.

Solid performance by HK vs Pakistan. We just picked a squad that was too light in batting. Not sure we had that many eligible batters to select from tho! Nevertheless 7 bowlers in the starting XI was a bit too much. Nizakat didn't even need to bowl.

Gill is best opener we have no comparison between him & Jaiswal.

Jaiswal far behind than Gill
At certain level, he will learn who has desire to go highest level.

Ya pakistani player bats on same track they admited most difficult wicket to bats on with ball keeping low & also bounce,
Jaiswal read it well in first 9 ball than starts his mission, other 3 failed till Rinku found his Mojo with 15 ball 37 * or so.
