One thing that would help is if the ICC didn't get involved in pitch preparation and just let the normal groundsmen do their work. The Final in 2019 may have been a great match (eventually), but it was a terrible pitch and for most of the match was painful to watch.

Was really heartbreaking to watch his video. Not many people hold the guts to expose the truth. Physio reported he’d be fit enough to play the first world cup match but for some reason he was asked to back out from the match. Then he was asked to bat at lower order when he protested. All this was done over the phone. So naturally he said not to include him in the squad if this dirty politics goes on with him one after another. The selectors lied in the press conference that due injury concerns they left him out but physio reports suggest otherwise. Its a vicious circle.
