It sounds like we agree though.I will when he concedes the point or runs away as is his MO.

I agree with one of his points though . 83 WC Final was better than ZIM match.I will when he concedes the point or runs away as is his MO.
NZ vs SA SF 2015Is there any dark horse for the remaining spots?
you dont interact much with our saltshakerz do you? Dogs let go of bones faster than he does his biased false takes.Give the topic a rest
The '87 Final was such a big one for me. It can't be overstated how little chance that Australian team was given going into the tournament, and what a boost it gave to Australian cricket at the time coming as it did when we were at our lowest ebb.AFAIC 1983 WC final deserves more to be in this list than ZIM match .
1987 WC Final
1992 WC SF also deserve to be in the list
Great shout. What a match that was.NZ vs SA SF 2015
Love that game.Obviously no chance of it making the list now, but I've mentioned before one of my absolute favourite JAMODIs was this epic game between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in Sharjah. SL only needed 24 in 10 overs with 8 wickets left but then Wasim and Razzaq started reversing the ball like mad (hmmmmm very interesting) and it ended up being a tie. It has one of the best under pressure runouts ever too when Murali sets off for the winning run and Shoaib Malik hits the stumps with only one to aim at.
Those TenSports Cricket Classics memories coming back hard.
Funny you should say that, this match has always lived long in my memory for a similar reason. Surrey cruising to victory need 25 runs with 9 wickets remaining against Lancs, cue a Wasim inspired collapse.....they would only score another 18!! He may not have taken the wickets, but it was his spell that sparked it and he was impossible to score off (think he went for plenty early on in the innings).Obviously no chance of it making the list now, but I've mentioned before one of my absolute favourite JAMODIs was this epic game between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in Sharjah. I'd never seen that scorecard - that's incredible.Funny you should say that, this match has always lived long in my memory for a similar reason. I'm ok with the 83, 92 and 96 finals missing out. Historic games (as all WC finals are), but they're not locks for a list like this imo. Any of the others not being in the list would be a real shame though. So, looking as I do after each entry at what is left to come, and if I accept that there are the Big Three non-negotiable locks, then we have three remaining slots to somehow fit in the following (and these are just WC matches, let alone anything else!):
'83 Final
'87 Final
'92 Semi
'92 Final
'96 Final
'11 Eng v Ire KOB madness
'15 Semi
At least four of those matches will miss out entirely. And that is without also considering a couple of iconic individual performances (Viv's 189, Sachin's 200).
I assume thats what he meant by the Big Three, 99 SF, 2019 Final and 438434 v 438 is going to be in top 3.
Yeah, that plus the 2019 Final and the 1999 Semi are the Big Three I was referring to. I think they have to be the top three.434 v 438 is going to be in top 3.
hmmm interesting.he was impossible to score off (think he went for plenty early on in the innings).
