I just watched the highlights of the match on YouTube. The ****s skipped Lara's dismissal. 😡
I've stopped watching highlights videos because of how much the editing annoys me, even "proper" services like Fox/Kayo

At the very least show every boundary, every wicket, and every milestone ffs. Some highlights packages you'll be watching and see 3 wickets in a row meanwhile the scorecard has gone up by 140 runs

The one thing I still remember from that AB knock is the shot timestamped below around 9:15. An inch perfect yorker from Dwayne Smith somehow went for four, remember just laughing in disbelief when it happened.

Flat track bully meh....

Can he do the same against 90s bowlers, with 90s bats, on 90s pitches and with a 90s paycheck?

Guys from the 90s are hacks. Could Lara make runs on sticky wickets with no helmet and 1920s bats while cow dung was all over the pitch while its 12.7 degrees Celsius on a cold morning on the third Wednesday of June.

That's child's play. Can the 20's guys like Hobbs make runs on pitches that are unfit for even house matches with no boundaries and all runs have to be run in full and nobody has no idea of batmanship all while only treating as a part time hobby.

Could Malcolm Marshall have maintained his same great strike rate with misshapen roundish rocks for balls against homo habilis weilding a club?

I stopped watching the match after Yuvraj got out . Was pleasantly shocked when I saw the morning news .

I think the main thing I've learnt from this exercise is that it's especially hard to judge an ODI by its scorecard. All you really see is how close it was – i.e., the death stages of the 2nd innings – and it's tough to appreciate the quality of the game.
