I've stopped watching highlights videos because of how much the editing annoys me, even "proper" services like Fox/Kayo

At the very least show every boundary, every wicket, and every milestone ffs. Some highlights packages you'll be watching and see 3 wickets in a row meanwhile the scorecard has gone up by 140 runs

Yes 2013 I believe. I think 3-4 batsmen ended up averaging ~100 at stupid strike rates. Australia made 360 in one of the games only for it to be chased in 43 overs. Faulkner went mental a few times too.

I think the main thing I've learnt from this exercise is that it's especially hard to judge an ODI by its scorecard. All you really see is how close it was – i.e., the death stages of the 2nd innings – and it's tough to appreciate the quality of the game.
