20 Greatest ODIs (by ESPNCricinfo)

Perhaps this one is number 7 and they've simply skipped 10,9,8 because they didn't involve India.
I think they left gaps for matches like yesterday to be put in at Number 8. I mean two Indians scoring tons against Pakistan in a thumping victory, how can that not be Top 10?

It gets funnier with each India entry. I hope we sweep the top 10.
This was a great game admittedly, although again, not sure any of us had considered it for the Top 20.

Would it be there had it been SA v Pakistan?

I'm kind of hoping SA v SL from 2003 is going to be there, the first real D/L **** up.

Top 3 are the 1999 and 2015 SA SF chokes and then that one?

The shoe-ins are surely that 99 semi, Joburg 438 and WCF19 but beyond that I'm less sure. It's not that's there necessarily an Indian bias so far (still no Pakistan entry) but a bias towards batting performances - we've had the great performances by AB, Kohli, Bevan, Sachin and Kapil but no great bowling efforts. I'm starting to wonder if something like Malinga's 4in4 will get in.

I'd have thought one of the big WC upsets, like Bang v Pak 99, Ire v Pak 2007 or Ire v Eng 2011 should be there. Also, one of the big totals from the Morgan era England team? SL winning in 96?

Sri Lanka winning has to be there in the top 10. That was both a great match and a great narrative

Ireland / England will make it too

I think the only India one in the top 10 will be the 1983 final

I'd probably have Australia v England in 2003. Firstly, it was a great game and secondly it was one of the best individual performances by Bichel.

Yeah, you'd think that but they went for Bevan in some JAMODI a few years earlier.
