I've scaled down my expectations re: Ernie but it'd suck if he went to Chelsea and became a great player for them
Yeah, same. But also I just really like him. Even if he's not going to cut it at Arsenal (and it increasingly seeming more likely than not that he won't), Chelsea is the last club I would want to see him turning out for.

It's so annoying how well City are run.

Huge profit on Cole Palmer and now they're back well ahead of FFP. Chelsea taking a massive risk but can't doubt Palmer's potential.

We love a good draw don't we @wpdavid
Yup, and I'm pretty happy with that. As I am with our start to the season as a whole; enough points to give us a start but not spectacular enough to draw the likes of Eze, Guehi and Doucoure to the attention of the big boys. That being said, there are rumours of Tottenham putting in eleventh hour bid for Eze. Let's hope it doesn't happen.

Excellent CL draw for us tbh. Also, woah at Eddie getting an England call up. Never would've thought he'd reach that level but you gotta congratulate him big time

Tip for you gamblers. Whites are 11/5 to win against Wr*xham tomorrow. Frankly even though we are shite, those are tremendously generous odds for us at home in any league fixture. The bookies may know more than me generally, but there’s not been huge investment in the goats squad this season, Mullin is out (and he’s a good L2 striker but you’d think he was Mbappe because he scored a load in the conference) and their defence is weak. We’ve unbalanced our team this season so where were previously been tight defensively and needed hours to score, we now have goals in us but are leaky. They’ve made a start not that much better than ours, and we should be buoyed by a decent showing against a strong Leicester outfit in midweek.

I’m not saying we will definitely win but 11/5 is hugely generous against a side who have finished below us for 35 years and counting now. Dirty goat bastards

Failing that, if you do BTTS this one is a shoo-in
