What's Your Stance on 'Bringing IN The Boundary Rope' to Minimize the size of them?

I'm watching the Hundred right now, and I hate it. Women's cricket has evolved. The girls can easily clear the ropes in the modern game.

I love this trend.

Please bring the ropes in to absurdly close distances, to the point that random forward defense edges are clearing the boundary for six.

Might give me a chance to be a professional level bat, as I have no power whatsoever but back myself to have the hand eye to catch the edge more often than not.

And yet so far in this innings, despite two of the most aggressive openers in World Cricket having put on a large stand, not one 6.

In general, and presuming that we keep modern equipment, boundaries for professionals should be as far back as grounds safely allow. Mis-hits and edges should not carry for 6.

I hate it. The modern trend of having a whole second fence within the ordinary fence is particularly irritating, first noticed it in the 2015 world cup.

It seems to serve partially as a place to accomodate hangers on like security men, who apparently don't need to be there for the more volatile AFL crowds, and photographers so they can take their awfully framed pictures that don't show anything.

Not sure how it would be enforced because there are plenty of excuses, but at least in men's matches it should be mandated to use the maximum possible area.

i hate it and whinge about it a lot. i get that t20, normies come for big dingers, but imho the mickey mouse sixes you see when the boundaries are brought in just don't ring my bell honestly
