Zaheer Abbas instead of Rohit at 4, and Kohli at 3. Subcontinent have way better openers, same for ROW XI from 3-5. Subcontinent XI have the better allrounders slightly for me, and clearly the better finisher. ROW have the better attack overall, if you choose Pollock, otherwise close. In such a close matchup, I’d back SC XI cause of Dhoni’s captaincy.

The SC XI has too much cake and all right handed batsman apart from Jaya. I will have Yuvraj instead of Rohit in there. Shakib has a case too.

Will not enough lefthanders actually affect the result tho?

I would replace Shakib for Kapil if playing in the SC.

Viv is the tiebreaker. There hasn't been an ODI cricketer as good as him. Leave him out, pick the next best possible replacement, and it is pretty close.
