Now I am thinking about the quality of cricket being played in the internationals between the Czech Republic and TurkeyYeah Sydney too. Cow's criteria is too lax. They should probably just so it discretionarily with some guidelines, but MLC and ILT20 not counting are definitely both ****ing stupid. I'd consider counting the Canadian one too but it's borderline.
Oh I thought you meant MLC, ignore me.Funding KFC Max?
Local clubs tend to pay players a lot more (and have more paid players in general) than premier cricket in my experienceFunding KFC Max?
One of the aims of KFC Max etc is to kill off independents such as BPLOn the topic of local Queensland cricket "the Century" is on kayo starting right now. Basically local version of the Hundred it looks like
Bit different they do the toss and instead of choosing to bat or bowl, the winning team chose with of 2 bonus players to get

I saw some very brief highlights on BBC. Just the wickets I think. He looked seriously fast and got movement. Starc on a good day.I think a lot of England fans got their first view of Spencer Johnson last night - fair to say he kicked off with a bang. For those that haven't followed The Hundred, he took 3-1 in his 20 balls (19 dots!!). So is he going to be a limited overs specialist or will his body hold up for Tests?
There's a thing doing the rounds on X (Twitter) that shows all his 20 balls in 60 seconds. It did seem like Buttler hit a few flowing drives straight to fielders, but a lot were beaten for pace. His 3 wickets mind all came at the end of his stint.I saw some very brief highlights on BBC. Just the wickets I think. He looked seriously fast and got movement. Starc on a good day.

Quite.Proof that "the hundred" ain't real cricket
I thought on Wednesday night that he took all his wickets at a time when the opposition had already lost the game. Not saying he doesn't look a bowler, but there is a bit of context about the circumstance. There's a thing doing the rounds on X (Twitter) that shows all his 20 balls in 60 seconds. Wickets weren't really the impressive thing from what I gather though. Yeah, that he kept Salt and Buttler quiet at the top was key to ending it as a contest. As so often happens in T20, the cheap wickets at the end were the icing on the cake.Wickets weren't really the impressive thing from what I gather though. More that he went for 1 run in 20 balls
For sure, it is just that apart from the first few 20/25 balls the MI batting effort was very poor and they seemed to give up the ghost once they lost a couple of wickets. As I said, I thought Johnson and Atkinson were very impressive and I was actually at the Oval, but the speeds shown on the big screen seemed somewhat over the top to me, especially with Atkinson being supposedly timed at 94/95 mph (or over 152kphWickets weren't really the impressive thing from what I gather though.
