Why did they treated him this bad tho?

He was dropped harshly and then we had a strong middle order for a while. It seemed like his time had past when MisYou retired but they gave him a run again and he was good but was dropped too harsh again. Then we found Agha Salman and Saud Shakeel.

He should never have been dropped in the first place and probably would've been better than Asad Shafiq if he had been backed like him. :( It makes no sense at all to not pick him post MisYou too. He made vital tons in almost every series after his comeback.

He had a horrible run at the end, especially in that series against Australia where the decks were so flat it was criminal to end with a HS of 13. Don't think dropping him then was harsh. Should've played a lot more earlier on though for sure.

Yeah probably fair at that point but he was our best batsman on the previous away tour.

Hard to give your best if you have the feeling that the selection panel are looking for every excuse to drop you , after he got dropped in 09 with a Test average of 41 , he wasn't picked for 11 years straight. That's not normal behavior from selectors.
