Do You Approve of T20s Starting at 10AM Local Time?

Or do you prefer double-headers when it comes to these matches. One in the morning and the other at night.
You throw in an exhibition match between the two main ones.

Not hard for our organizers to do.

Yeah get local teams to play before main event like in boxing , that gives exposure..good marketing ploy ..
Most of these timings are gravitating towards the sub-continent, where crazy stuff happens. Dream XI, Fantasy XI...this. that. And everything in between.

The flavor of the cricket in our region is watered-down (pun intended.)

20/20 kicking off at 10.00 am for some reason just doesn't feel right but like the idea of a double header with something in between.
Wouldn't this still all work if it started at 1.00 or 2.00 pm?
I'm well in the minority here I guess but yikes 10.00 in the morning is still the middle of the night for me.

If only our cricket administrators were creative, enough to do this. As far as I know, they would rather host these matches at this start time...further alienating our local people.

You saw the size of the crowd in the 1st T20I? Barely a handful.

People in the West Indies love to party. By starting the games at 10 in the morning restricts most of the main audience. It's shooting themselves in the fooot.

I absolutely hate when they have t20s or odi start in the mornings. I’ll understand if they have it in places like England though for like their t20 blast completion or the hundred etc when there’s a few matches per day on the same ground and rain or bad light comes into play then playing earlier does benefit them.

Think the early starts are a big hassle for the crowds also

Aren't the plethora of T20s played to give people on the sub continent something to gamble on.

That is what probably controls the times the games are played.

HTH ☺

It's all about TV and ratings, so no 10am isn't the time...unless it's playing into an Indian market and their preferred time zone.

I'd prefer never o'clock for T20s, but alas.

Considering the question in the abstract, don’t have a problem with this. I have been to T20s starting at 11 and 11.30 and it felt fine. Indeed it is easier to get home from some grounds during daylight hours than late at night.
