Interesting. Not sure about moving the window to fit around other tournaments, cause they'll move and then the Hundred will be forever chasing their tail. I think merging the men's and women's might actually further erase the identity of the women's game.Views:
Crunch time for The Hundred
Kit Harris discusses what should come next for the ECB’s flagship tournament. This week saw the beginning of the third edition of The Hundred, also known as the saviour of the summer, the crisp-pac…wisdenblog.wordpress.com
Combined Women's and Men's table and new teams?
It is cricket so yeah there are going to be some fun games.I think the games have been pretty good so far.
i get all the objections. I’m not even sure the funky things make it easier to follow. But it’s entertaining
It's cricket mate of course it will be fun.I think the games have been pretty good so far.

I agree with all of that mate completely. I think they’ve gone about it all wrong. But it does seem to be getting families involved and hell my wife is coming to a game after 15 years of threatening to.It's cricket mate of course it will be fun.
The point is why not plow money into the blast. The ECB emptied their bank accounts on a competition that gets the same players as the blast.
They badged it as a rival to the IPL or BBL. Yet a competition last month in Texas had bigger stars and doesn't even count towards T20 stats while the Hundred does.
Think that last point is the most salient as the ICC and ECB are more interested in lining their pockets than actually progressing cricket.
Aside from all that, how is it progressing cricket in England.
I look at the club that's supposed to represent my region in the Northern superchargers. It picked 38 year old Wiese and 34 year old Parnell journeymen former South African former internationals and 27 year old state cricket Short from Australia instead of 24 year old English talents Robinson and Potts. Robinson especially has been in absolutely scintillating form and he's not playing cricket in the height of summer.
My mam seems to watch it. But she's right into the blast too. Was at finals day taking photos of all the Somerset and Surrey players. She wasn't much of a ricket fan but got into T20 4/5 years ago.I agree with all of that mate completely. I think they’ve gone about it all wrong. Yeah if they wanted to go down the non/county teams route they could have still kept it T20.My mam seems to watch it. But she's right into the blast too. Was at finals day taking photos of all the Somerset and Surrey players. She wasn't much of a ricket fan but got into T20 4/5 years ago.
I'm 30 and 2005 Ashes got my entire generation into cricket.
I get bairns now are into tik tok, FIFA, fortnight and drill music now more so than the nuance of test cricket.
But fail to get why 20 less balls makes this more viable than the blast.
I hope Tom Harrison ruins rugby to make up for his sins in charge of the ECB.
@DaemonGlad to see cricketing fraud Tim David continue at being a cricketing fraud.
Every Ball Counts?Jos Butler probably the best short form player in the world right now
