England don't have another test until 10th July 2024?

It’s kinda ridiculous how England gets like 14 tests a year and others get like 6. Lot of blokes hitting 100 tests before they hit 30 years old
No one gives England 14 tests a year, they organise them themselves with other countries. I personally think it's too many but more because of risk of burnout and making them less meaningful. However, there remains plentiful demand for the format in England so the numbers of tests is high. Less demand elsewhere, fewer tests.

It's not too high, at least at home (8 away tests in one winter might have been a bit much, though I can see why the boards would want to organize more tests with England). There is actually one less home test a year than there used to be. It's got more condensed because these crap white ball tournaments taking out months of the international summer (the IPL & the Hundred).
