In relation to the allegations of racism and discrimination at the Yorkshire County Cricket Club (YCCC), the independent Cricket Discipline Commission (CDC) announced its sanctions after the county club admitted four amended charges in breach of ECB Directive 3.3. An immediate deduction of 48 points in the ongoing County Championship, four-point deduction from the 2023 T20 Blast and also a fine of GBP 400,000 were levied on the YCCC. GPB 300,000 of the fine will be suspended for a period of two years.

Glad to say I've watched none of it and won't be again. Got the one day cup and of course football is properly back through August.

Probably true. Hard to see it happening at the moment but perhaps the break for the one day cup will give them time to regroup.

Interesting situation for the 2nd spot in Div 2 where Worcestershire's lack of batting points is costing us whereas the other teams in the hunt have mostly just drawn games rather than won any.

I'm from Northumberland but support Durham.

So a weird one for me. As Durham should have been winning that game. Watched a lot of the Durham innings and many needless shots.

The 5 senior players in Lees,Clark,Jones,Trevaskis and Coughlin all falling victim to that particular type of dismissal.

Second time in a row they've lost to minor county side.

We've got the one day cup. Don't let hatred for The Hundred stop a longstanding tradition in county cricket.

Hope Durham go all the way.

But having see Northants signing Privthi Shaw, plus having Tye and Willey. Plus most of their first team. Their going to be the team to watch.
