Rank these top teams from SC history based on who would be best in all conditions.

Pak late 80s with Imran, Javed, Salim Malik, Abdul Qadir, early career Wasim, etc.

SL late 90s with Ranatunga, DeSilva, Jayasuria Murali, Mahela, etc.

Pak mid 90s with Wasim, Waqar, Saqlain, Mushtaq Ahmed, Saeed Anwar, Inzi, Ijaz, etc.

India late 2000s with Dhoni, Tendulkar, Dravid, Sehwag, Laxman, Zaheer, Harbi or Kumble, etc.

India late 2010s with Kohli, Pujara, Rahane, Bumrah, Ashwin, Jadeja, Shami, etc.

90s Pakistan team looks amazing on paper and were the 3rd best team in the 90s but underachieved imo. So I'd go:

India late 2010s
Pak 80s
Pak 90s
India 2000s
SL
Pak 90s team lost home series to SL twice and one series to Zimbabwe. Highly overrated team. Late 2000s India were excellent at home and were competitive everywhere overseas.

India late 2010s
Pak 80s
India late 2000s ~ Pak mid 2010s ( very good team led by misbah, performed decently away from home, got to number 1 in the world)
Pak 90s

International Captain
Mid 80s, into very early 90s Pak was my favorite team of all time.

Don't care about facts or logic here. That team beats the Invincibles, in my eyes.

State Vice-Captain
I will go with 1. India late 2010s (Dominant at Home and good overseas record with series win in aus and drawn series in Eng)
2. Pak late 80s( I think an underrated team. Only team which give some sort of challenge to the great wi side and drawn a series in wi in 88 and dominant at home apart from against wi)
3. Ind late 2000s ( A good side at home and an average away team with series win in eng and nz. Better in swinging cond than bouncy due to absence of great fast bowler but an atg batsman side. The only negative was the absence of a great fast bowler.)
4. 90s sl at par with pak 90s (Both were better in shorter formats and were Champaign odi side in 90s but odrinary for me in test. Good at home but failed overseas)

In defence of Pak in the 90s, the main issue, aside from fixing, was multiple captains who didn't know how to handle the team.

Under Wasim's captaincy they didn't pretty well, unbeaten at home, won in England, NZ and did well in India. They were whitewashed by an ATG Aussie side tho. I consider that side a bit stronger.

But overall yes if we include others captains their stock goes down based on home record.

Whatever it takes!!!
Technically the first game I watched was actually the tied test in 87 and I was at the ground. But I was 3, lol.

In terms of actually following and watching full games of cricket, I would say from about 90/91.
