It is a decent attack , Madushanka has some good talent..Asitha Fernando averages under 30 with the ball and Prabath Jayasuriya has been prolific in his start to Test Cricket, Ramesh Mendis also averages under 30 with the ball ..Just that today for some reason they just haven't been switched on ..Batting , bowling and fielding has been very ordinary probably the worst performance I have seen from a Sri Lankan team .. The media is going to come down very hard on the Sri Lankan players .

Our next series is touring Australia after the WC. Our one bowler of note is going to be crocked from carrying the side in the WC again and we'll sink to the depths of the 2019 tour again.

Think Naseem should look at Mark Wood's success with pace and back himself to hit the stumps more often. He doesn't swing it much if at all, at least from what I've seen in the last 2 tests

This is true. Something is better than nothing. But the best side in the SC is India, and I doubt they can curb stomp them (if they ever manage to play them).

This is true. Something is better than nothing. But the best side in the SC is India, and I doubt they can curb stomp them (if they ever manage to play them).

There are 5 test sides now in the SC and being one of the top 2 is still great. You should still curbstomp Ireland, Windies. That is 6 out of the possible 10 opponents and you can always curbstomp the SENA sides at home.

Ind-Pak games are not really gonna happen in tests in our lifetime anymore. We just have to get used to that.

Grim. We're terrible batting in the first innings generally. Maybe the mentality has to change and we need to be more positive and play our shots - take a leaf out of Pakistan's book or something. 166 is a laughable score considering this pitch.
