Great recovery from Sri Lankan lions , DDS carrying on his form from the first test , Chandimal carrying on his golden form in Sri Lanka, surprisingly he didn't do well in first test but setting it right .

DDS finally averaging 40+ though.
There's really nothing that can justify being 120-6 on day one at the SSC.

That's really not acceptable.
350ish. You get a lot of variation in SL pitches so it's hard to say but the typical slow turner should see scores in excess of 350 imo. Today is one of those.

Naturally want a big first innings score in the subcontinent where batting nearly always gets tougher as the test progresses. Probably about 350 on average in SL, but more like 400 on your average SSC track.
