PlayerComparisons
International Vice-Captain
Two players of great innings
its a test comparisonEffectiveness wise, it's a tough one but watching KP bat was damn entertaining and pleasurable. Also, being a superior LOI bat helps his case. KP it is for me.
Still KP for me. But very close one.its a test comparison
I would say about 48. His record against major non-Australian teams leave much to be desired. He was never 50 averaging batsman.VVS was a 50 average batsman, over a period of 13 years 120 tests, once he stopped being forced to open.
Batting 5/6 so much in a strong batting lineup helps tooI would say about 48. His record against major non-Australian teams leave much to be desired. He was never 50 averaging batsman.
I was talking about his career after he stopped opening. By the numbers, he was literally a 50 average batsman for a span of time as long as most ATG batsmen careers (and much longer than KP's mere 8 year career) . I'm not saying he would've averaged 50 if he'd never opened, that's a different question.I would say about 48. His record against major non-Australian teams leave much to be desired. He was never 50 averaging batsman.
interesting accusationThese x vs y comparisons always fall foul to the fact that certain people vote on nationality and not necessarily merit.
Yeah never saw VVS destroy an attack…KP was a magic player. I favour him over VVS. He had the ability to destroy attacks ala Viv. VVS was excellent but lacked that 5th gear.
Out of here.Yeah never saw VVS destroy an attack…
