*Official* Fourth Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) 19-23 July

I'd love it if we won this test to tie the series and the comments about it only happening due to this injury will start.
It's very obvious that Lyon has left a massive hole in the bowling attack and they aren't making it any easier by not picking the more than able replacement on a wicket like this one

Well not picking a spinner at Old Trafford is the stupidest ashes decision since Ponting at Edgbaston 05 inserting England. Bonkers to not pick a spinner at the ground that usually helps most.

Starc should add a thick flowing mullet to that moustache. Complete the 1990s animted series Iron Man look.

Well Old Trafford has been the worst venue to bowl spin in England after Lords over the past decade

The decision to go with an all pace attack at The Oval in 09 wouldn't be far off either.

Is that really the case though? Best spinners last 5 years at Old Trafford

Bess - 5 wkts @ 48.00
Leach - 4 wkts @ 44.50
Lyon - 2 wkts @ 70.00
Ali - 1 wkt @ 65.00
Root - 1 wkt @ 80.00

What about not picking a bowler that averages 11 with the ball at Lords, who comes back the next test and England win. Then the same bowler gets a fifer at Old Trafford

I'm not sure we've bowled especially well but fmd England have had the rub of the green here. Could be a very different Test.
