Yeah, by threat, I meant that there is a player who many people rate over the current incumbent and hence threatening to be selected above that player.

Sobers to Kallis is a bigger jump than Kallis to Worrell as far as AR ability goes. Kallis would be in contention for the third XI as a #4.
