McIlroy gets a hole in one in the Travellers
It was a bizarre round. He was average early, then got hot following the hole in one. Found himself in a good position as he stood on the easy par 5 13th tee and promptly stuck it in the water and made bogey. Even then he managed to bogey 2 of the last 3, an iron that went 2 yards too far and a drive that went right up the lip of a bunker. He is 7 shots off the lead so outside of the hole in one, he struggled...
Sneaked a 4th place with Cantlay. The rest all under par in America . In the euro not so good
Fantastic to see at last for himFowler finally wins one...

Unfortunately can see another Sunday where Rory puts on a ball striking clinic but can’t buy a putt and haplessly watches one of the other contenders glide past him…
Funny old round from Rory. His driving was right off on the front 9 and made a couple of decent putts to prevent the score getting worse. But his iron shots into 17 and 18 were things of beauty before holing the 10 footer for victory. Should also be said that MacIntyre's round was astonishingly good and his shot into 18 was also stunning. Just 3 birdies on that all day and the two leaders had 2 of them (it was playing straight into the wind, Rory hit driver, 2 iron for a 455yd hole). With the wind helping, he hit a 428yd drive on the 7th!!Rory manages to finish it off for once, well done! And apparently with clutch birdies on 17 and 18! Will wonders never cease? Yet another top 5 for Scheffler…
