This draft will be similar to one ran previously where drafters will have to make their selection based off the average of the player before then. Here there will be a starting player Don Bradman (36.00 bowling average). The first drafter will have to pick a player with a batting or bowling average within **0.5** runs of Bradman's 36.00 bowling average so they will be looking for a player with a batting and/or bowling average between 35.50 and 36.50. The next drafter will pick a player with an average within 0.5 runs of the first drafters pick and so on.
In the instances where there are no eligible players with a batting or bowling average within 0.5 runs of the previous pick the drafter can pick the eligible player with the next highest or next lowest batting or bowling average from the previous drafter's pick. So that gives you 4 choices, in instances where the next highest/lowest average is shared by multiple players all of those players would be eligible.
Each drafter will get 1 wildcard pick they can use at any time they choose. With this wildcard pick they can use the other average of the previous drafters pick. So in the case of the opening pick - a drafter, if they wanted to, could use the batting average of Don Bradman (99.94 batting average) and make a pick off of this average instead.
**If we get fewer than 10 drafters than criteria will loosen slightly to an average within 0.75 runs of the last pick**
All averages will be based on Cricinfo's stats and to 2 dp.
