I’m not upsetting Furball anymore so I’ve started this

Sunderland, Hartlepool and any other football related stuff from any league or country for season 23/24

Gents. All teams are welcome in this thread. I’ve bored the forum half to death with TRFC updates over the years. Chris Greenacre and James Norwood are household names the world over in cricket nations thanks to that

What I would suggest is minute by minute updates are not really the way this thread gets used. I can see Carty has made a thread for north east clubs which is one option or a PM chat the other.

Do discuss Sunderland in here by all means and I’m not saying put a post limit on. But the thread would be quickly unreadable if everyone was doing play by play updates for their team.

I forgot there was a 'football stuff that doesn't deserve it's own thread' thread. Sunderland updates fit perfectly into that thread.

Yeah I know I am posting to myself about the mighty Grecians, and TBF Furball posts about Scottish football, which would be a ban for me, but ho-hum.

Better than the backup left-back we had last season (Vinagre) and probably not any worse than Mykolenko. He's free, doubt he'll be on crazy wages and can play a few different positions, not a terrible signing. Also, after letting so many players go already this summer (including Nkounkou who would have been our backup LB) we need to start filling out the squad.

It should be compulsory for all CW members to have a working knowledge of TRFC and the SWA.

Was quite sad, heard Collymore saying that maybe at times you shouldn't change clubs to try to change how you're feeling if it's football that is triggering a break from the game.

Anyway @Pothas we've got a young lad from your lot, and one from Chelsea on season long loans, seems like the type of great loans that will hopefully move us forward.

Even though I still get weird thinking of Brentford being Leagues ahead of us, both actually and figuratively.

Oh yeah it is still feels weird whenever I actually think about it. He is supposed to be good though, one of the best players in the B team last season and promoted to the first team over the summer.
