Are there any cricketers still playing cricket that you thought would have a great international career but it is turning out not to be the case ?

I had high hopes for Wiaan Mulder (Still do) but I'm seriously starting to question if he will ever crack it at international level .

Rachin Ravindra hasn't really pushed on as much as would be hoped. He's still under 30 though, so plenty of time left to develop </stead>

He was the closest thing to a Gilchrist. Talent was insane. Still is.

I thought Quinton De Kock was gonna play 100 Test Matches for SA when I first saw him as a teenager .

I remember his back to back centuries against India in his ODI debut series very well. Looked like a world beater which he is on his day but he really needs to do better in this coming WC.

From Australia I thought Mitchell Marsh would have had a better Test career , he's had a great white ball career though
