I'm sure in the same circumstances most Aussie crowds would have said "well done old chap, spiffing stuff".

Yeah I dunno about a single off the first ball of the over but 2nd or 3rd would be a better sweet spot. And they should run the first one hard for anything vaguely in a gap.
