These ***** just needs to toughen up and refuse to hook or pull anything, if it hits you on the rib so be it.
I would say they were victims of being ahead in the game. If Aus were behind and not looking to push the game along they would have more likely just let it go by and eventually England would have been forced to change tacticsSeems like maybe it’s not as easy to resist this kind of attack! We rightly criticised our batters yesterday for how we played it, now the same obvious tactic has removed the batsman of the series so far when set and one of the best in the world when also set! What’s going on?!
are you suggesting a wade recall? These ****s just needs to toughen up and refuse to hook or pull anything, if it hits you on the rib so be it.
Haha I meant the lead of 280410 lead would probably be enough tbh
I think a key difference is Australia have less of an incentive to just see the barrage out. They rather take the risk and score runs given they can afford to.Seems like maybe it’s not as easy to resist this kind of attack! They're absolutely correct. It's an effective tactic for exactly the reasons Tubby was saying. You can set a field for it that makes it very difficult to score and survive. You basically have to pick one. It's WagnerballUrgh ffs Australia you've got KP talking crap now.
He's saying it's a difficult bowling tactic and not awful batting. Tubby for some reason is backing him up.
Sky commentary team this series is utterly horrendous.
Nas, Athers and Ponting aside it's woeful.
It's all about entertainment, isn't it. To anyone other than the English fans, he must be hilarious to watch. Also I know it's been said ad nauseum but how is Jonny Bairstow in the side as keeper Jesus Christ
Yeah can't see them scoring runs here. Either try to roll the wrists like Smith and get a high risk single or take on the boundaryThey're absolutely correct. The bloke on cricinfo reckons the pitch is a little two-paced. I have no idea whether that's true or not.Its tough for the batsman
