I imagine within a decade we won’t have human umpires onfield but a robot/machine capable of making immediate and correct decisions on both lbw and no ball, as well as the fundamentals of counting balls/overs etc

AI umpiring won't be viable for the lower tiers of cricket and robotic umpiring would require trials and approval. I can't see this happening in my lifetime .... but then again I'm no spring chicken.

I kind of want to see if players could hack this somehow, like running up and down the crease a few times so the AI thinks a ball is being bowled.
