Don't know if the Dutch are panicking or they are looking at trying to win and tackle the nrr but it could cost them dearly.

These associate nations got the same problem as teams like West Indies and Sri Lanka against the bigger dogs. They can’t close out games chasing lower totals against stronger opponents and fall to the pressure.

Yep, also a skillset problem against spin especially legspin or "mystery spin" ..
Look at the records of guys like Rashid Khan , Sandeep Lamichhane, Hasaranga etc have ..
Against associates they clean up ..Hasaranga's figures in this tournament is mind-boggling ..

But how are you supposed to learn to play spin better if you don't have the resources ? And ICC doesn't help these associate nations by trying to keep them away from the big tournaments with these ridiculously demanding qualifying criteria .

Yeah that’s a good point as well most these players from nations can’t play a wrong un type delivery. Although I still think Rashid one the best bowlers in short forms still and Hasaranga I know he hasn’t had a good record against top nation but I think he will come good in the future against them.

Yeah it really is a big problem going forward with how much cricket these nations play and how much matches they get per year. I mean it is good if Say Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe make the World Cup but their most likely not gonna win 2 games all tournament

Spot on , Edwards seemed to be batting for his average and Chanderpaul'd the Netherlands..Can't be giving the No.10 & 11 4 or 5 balls to face to the skillfull Sri Lankan bowlers
4 other out for zero & couple of needless run out cost them otherwise very good game.

Mahesh Thikshana under MSD learn very well.
