Travis head truly is an inspriational story..... People laughed when he bought himself on before the specialist spinner for SA as captain and bowled 20 overs a day averaging 60 with the ball for SA. They said things like "Can't wait to see him replace lyon when he's captain" in a patranizing way. WELL LOOK NOW SHEEPLE. YOUR GOD HAS ARRIVED, NOW BOW. THE EARTH IS FLAT, THE NWO IS PUTTING CHEMICALS IN THE WATER TO MAKE US GROW SOY NIPPLES AND WANT TO PAY WOMEN'S CRICKETERS EQUAL WAGES. OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE.

The pitches this series aren't exactly helping. Very little zip to be had off the top if you don't really pound the deckJimmy in the last few years seemed to have got a lick or two quicker if anything, certainly seemed so off the pitch.
Looks concerningly lacking this summer though so far. This might finally actually be it.

In watching Ashes contesrs for over 35 years, I've seen several worse England line ups talent wise but never as one as tactically and mentally inept as this one.
Very early in the series I know but can't see the Ashes changing hands.

True, but best way to judge is against other bowlers and Broad seems far zippier, which he hadn't necessarily in recent times. Could say more about Broad than him though.
