I'm lost for words at this approach from us.

We've batted so well today, under massive pressure, and Pope then Root fall for the 3 card trick.

It's effing amateur hour. We've got the Aussies on the ropes here. We're carting Starc and Hazlewood for 7 an over and Lyon looks like his injury could be serious - he may not bowl again in the series nevermind this game.

And we're trying to hit 6s over fielders on the boundary likes it a T20 game.

This is a real chance for us - get 500 and out the Aussies under pressure.
