It would've come up in his 174th test innings... with only Sangakkara doing it quicker (172).... Smith however could be the quickest in terms of tests played to get there as Lara did it in 101 tests.

They've put the bad ball away (of which there has been an increasing number) and managed to avoid edging the others. They're making the most of their luck though.
